All kinds of activities are part of Audubon Community Nature Center’s Dragons and Fairies Festival on Saturday, June 19. One of the opportunities might be a magician.

Saturday, June 19, is an opportunity to bring the imagination to life with the return of Audubon Community Nature Festival’s Dragons and Fairies Festival.

Between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. adults and the children in their life can enjoy a series of guided and self-guided activities all about the magical creatures who call nature their home.

The popular Dragon Egg Hunt, Kids’ Archery Station, and Craft Cove are returning.

New this year are the Challenge Treasure Hunt, Fantasy Obstacle Course, and Fairy Friends Scavenger Hunt.

Sweet treats from Full Moon Rising and other goodies will be available for purchase. More details are in the works.

Admission prices are $8 adults, $6 Nature Center members and children 3 to 15, and free for 2 and under.

Through Thursday, June 17, pre-register at AudubonCNC.org/DragonFairyFest.

Walk-ins are welcome.

The Audubon Community Nature Center is located at 1600 Riverside Road, one-quarter mile east of Route 62 between Jamestown, N.Y., and Warren, Pa.

While practicing safe social distancing measures, visit six miles of trails on the 600-acre nature preserve from dawn to dusk daily.

The Nature Center building includes the Blue Heron Gift Shop, live animals, and the winning photographs from the 2020 Nature Photography Contest.

Visitors are welcome Mondays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission is by donation.
