Briefs…

Photo submitted to Times Observer Mrs. Guerra’s second-grade class at Tidioute Community Charter School has been learning about ways to “Go Green” to help our planet. They have done many green projects to show ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Some of their favorite projects were reusing water bottles to create artwork, in art class with Mrs. Williams. One of the projects was a sunflower that was constructed from used water bottles, which is reusing, therefore reducing. They also created a plastic bottle collaborative sculpture inspired by Dale Chihuly’s glass sculptures. The students also had the opportunity to present their green tips to an Erie TV news station, which will air various times from April 15 to 26.
