Haunted house and trolley tours at WCHS

The Warren County Historical Society’s annual Haunted House and Horse-Drawn Trolley Tours are Friday and Saturday, Oct. 13 and 14, from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Test your courage in the haunted halls of history as you attempt to make your way through the spine-chilling quarters of the Warren County Historical Society, 210 Fourth Avenue, Warren. Experience the shifting shadows and feel the apparitions brush by. Feel all eyes on you as you enter the dark and drafty old country store. Try to decipher the living from the dead in the Victorian funeral parlor, but always watch your back. You never know what is lurking in the corner.

For additional spine-tingling fun, purchase tickets for the always crowd-pleasing trolley tours. With new and true stories from Warren County’s past, this year’s guided trolley tour will take you back in time as you hear creepy and gory tales of Warren’s unluckiest early citizens. Trolley tickets are $9 per person in advance or $10 at the door and are available for purchase at the Warren County Historical Society and online at www.warrenhistory.org. First come, first served. Advanced purchase is recommended as seating is limited. Tours will depart from the historical society every half hour starting at 6 p.m., and the last trolley will be departing at 8:30 p.m.

The haunted house is free and open to the public. Refreshments provided by Kinzua Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center and AseraCare Hospice.
