Wedding

Kimberly I. Nobles and Richard H. Lawson joined hands in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 17, 2014, at the West Virginia University, Erickson Alumni Center, in Morgantown, W.V. Zachary Welch, a friend of the bride, officiated at the outdoor ceremony, and an indoor reception followed at the same location.

Kim is the daughter of Beth and Wes Jacobs of Warren and Mike Anderson, also of Warren. Richie is the son of Georgeann and Norm Chamberlain of Warren and Rick and Cindy Lawson of Jamestown, N.Y.

Escorted by her father, Mike, the bride carried a beautiful multi-broach bouquet. Maid of honor was Keri Craft, Roanoke, Va. Jobin Swedler of Pittsburgh served as best man. The flower girl was the groom’s daughter, Paisley.

Kim’s brother, Kenny, provided several musical selections by playing the guitar and singing. The readings were performed by Erica Goetz of Atlanta, Ga.

The bride graduated from Warren Area High School in 2005 and received an associate of science degree in veterinary technology from the Gwinnett Technical College of Lawrenceville, Ga. She is currently a head emergency registered technician at the Cheat Lake Animal Hospital in Morgantown.

The groom, a 2000 graduate of Warren Area High School, also graduated from West Virginia University with a bachelor of arts degree in political science. He is currently employed with Crawford and Company as an insurance adjuster.

The couple happily calls Morgantown their home.
