Wedding

Alyson Meadows and Dr. Nickolas Freeman were married on Saturday, May 24, 2014, at the Skyland Boulevard Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Reggie Kirk, the groom’s uncle, presided over the ceremony.

Alyson is the daughter of Michelle Meadows and the granddaughter of Edward and Connie Peterson of Warren. Nickolas is the son of Bob and Teresa Freeman and the grandson of Delores Ann and Robert E. Kirk of Tuscaloosa.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her grandfather, Edward Peterson. The matron of honor was Victoria Longo, friend of the bride, of Burkburnett, Texas. Attendants were Chelsea Deppas, friend of the bride, of Russell, and Heather Davis, friend of the bride, of Tuscaloosa. The junior bridesmaid was McKenzie Kirk, cousin of the groom, of Tuscaloosa, and the flower girl was Tori Longo, daughter of Victoria Longo.

The best man was Chris Freeman, brother of the groom, of Tuscaloosa. Groomsmen were Bradley Wyatt and Ibrahim Capar, friends of the groom, of Tuscaloosa. James Thomas Freeman, nephew of the groom, was the ringbearer.

A reception was held at the beautiful Bear Creek Manor. Special guests from the Warren area who attended the nuptials were Jessica Norris, bride’s sister; Gerry and Karen Peterson, bride’s great uncle and aunt; and Deborah Deppas, bride’s friend.

Alyson and Nickolas honeymooned in Costa Rica. They couple currently resides in Katy, Texas.
