Michelle McAvoy and Mislav Jukic were united in marriage on Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Fr. Richard Toohey.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Barbara McAvoy of Warren. The groom is the son of Ivan and Jelena Jukic of Zagreb, Croatia.

The bride was escorted in marriage by her father. Maid of honor was Kathleen Makielski, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Mary Lynn McAvoy, sister of the bride, and Karestee Hoak, friend of the bride. Best man was Tomislav Rosic, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Bo Jukic, brother of the groom, and Robert McAvoy, brother of the bride. Makel Piverger, nephew of the bride, was ringbearer.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Conewango Club.

Both the bride and groom are graduates of St. Francis University. The bride is employed as a physician assistant at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The groom is employed in the finance/sales department at The Hershey Company.

The couple resides in Hershey.
