Guhde-Huber

Jeffrey Alan Huber and Caroline Marie Guhde were united in marriage on Saturday afternoon, September 21, 2013, in a lovely outdoor ceremony at the Manakiki Ballroom & Courtyard in Willoughby Hills, Ohio.

The groom is the son of Timothy and Cheryl Huber of Warren. The bride is the daughter of Donald and Mary Ann Guhde of Euclid, Ohio.

Groomsmen included Aaron Franssell; Tyler Zawacki; and Jeff’s brother, Gary Huber, as best man.

Jacqueline Daugherty was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Virginia Smith and Christina Ziegler. The ringbearer was the bride’s nephew, Evan Guhde.

The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Dana Cummings, and music was provided by the Bellflower String Quartet. Readings in the ceremony were provided by family members Jerry Huber and Brian and Monique Guhde.

Jeff is a graduate of Warren Area High School. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English and finance from the College of William and Mary in Virginia. He is currently pursuing his M.B.A. at Georgetown University. Jeffrey is a copy editor at the magazine Chemical and Engineering News in Washington, D.C.

Caroline graduated from Lake Catholic High School in Mentor, Ohio. She received her undergraduate degree in English and Gender Studies from Marietta College in Ohio and her master’s in social work from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. She is currently in private practice as a licensed independent clinical social worker. She also works as a hotline supervisor for the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network.

Prenuptial celebrations included a bridal shower in July hosted by the bridesmaids and a rehearsal dinner hosted by the groom’s parents at Lola Bistro in downtown Cleveland.

A delayed honeymoon to Italy is planned for December 2013.

The couple resides in Washington, D.C.
