Bogardus-Wingard

Tiffany Lynn Wingard and Joshua Thomas Bogardus were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. August 3, 2013, on the beach in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

The bride’s parents are Kenneth and Deborah Wingard of Strabane. Her grandparents are Angeline Wingard of Canonsburg, the late Robert Wingard and the late Zephaniah and Shirley Minnicks.

The bridegroom’s parents are Thomas and Barbara Bogardus of Warren. His grandparents are Peter Bogardus of Erie and the late Susan Bogardus, Ruth Tannler of Warren and the late Richard Tannler.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Matrons of honor were the bride’s sisters, Kristin Keeney of Wyalusing and Natalie Janov of North Huntingdon.

Best man for his son was Thomas Bogardus.

Readers were Meghan Bogardus of Washington, D.C., sister of the groom, and Mark Wingard of Indiana, brother of the bride.

A reception was held at the wedding site.

The bride is a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she earned degrees in sociology and psychology and was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. She is employed by IMRE, a public relations and marketing firm in Baltimore, Md., as a human resources assistant.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Warren Area High School and Lock Haven University with a degree in criminal justice. He is employed by Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers in North East, Md., as a territory manager.

The newlyweds make their home in Baltimore area.
