Knights have strong week in track

The Eisenhower boys and girls track teams had a busy week with meets against Meadville on Tuesday and Saturday at the Franklin invitational. For the girls against Meadville, a 95-51 loss for the Knights, four girls turned in a combined five first-place finishes. Rosalie Rondeau won the long jump at 14 feet, 6.5 inches, and the triple jump at 31 feet, 3.33 inches. Laney Belcher won the 400 meters in 1:02.5, Hialeah Stanton won the pole vault at 7 feet, and Riley Robinault claimed the high jump at 4 feet, 8 inches. Girls junior softball Lilly Lucia was the winning pitcher and helped her own cause with a home run and Zella Seither added a double to lead Kinzua Auction/Jaime Nuhfer to a 16-12 win over Warren Fence Company. Kaylee Arnold smacked a triple and was the losing pitcher for Warren Fence Company. Girls Majors softball Amaya Cradduck tripled and doubled for Youngsville’s Dahlstrom in a 17-16 win over Tidioute.
