Eisenhower baseball, softball lose at home

RUSSELL — It was a tough day on the diamond yesterday for Eisenhower’s baseball and softball teams. The Knights lost 5-4 to Seneca in Region 4 baseball and 15-5 to West Forest nonregion softball. In the baseball game, the Knights got out to an early 3-0 lead after a Seneca error led to a pair of runs in the first inning and another in the second inning. Warren falls 12-2 to McDowell

ERIE — Warren suffered a 12-2 loss to McDowell in Region 6 baseball Saturday. The Trojans took the early lead in the first inning by scoring three, but the Dragons retaliated nicely by scoring two of their own via RBIs from Zane Carlson and Tage Wyman. McDowell found itself up 6-3 heading into the bottom of the fourth, and managed to double its score and end the game after five innings.
