The Warren High girls softball team suffered a pair of losses Monday and Tuesday, falling to Bradford 19-8 and Titusville 20-0. Against the Owls, Emma Gray (three RBIs) and Leilia Barnes collected two hits apiece, with Alexis Jones, Olivia Romanosky, and Tori Solberg (RBI) adding one hit each. Alanna Warrior contributed an RBI as well. The Lady Dragons look to regroup at 4 p.m. today as they host Meadville.
PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Pirates ace Paul Skenes saw his no-hit bid against the Colorado Rockies broken up in the seventh inning on Tuesday night by Mickey Moniak's clean single. The reigning National League Cy Young Award winner struck out 10 and walked none while facing the minimum 19 batters before Moniak stepped to the plate with one out in the seventh.
