Warren’s Latimer ends stellar high school career at states

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – An absolutely brilliant high school athletic career for Warren senior Lydia Latimer came to a close on Saturday at the PIAA Track and Field Championships. Competing in the Class 3A high jump, Latimer finished in a tie for 24th, clearing 5-0. Palisades senior and University of Pittsburgh recruit Lydia Bottelier made history, tying the PIAA record of Cyre Virgo (Fleetwood, 2003), clearing 5-11. WAHS baseball/softball parade

In what has become a common theme during the 2018-19 school year, there will be a parade for the Warren Dragons baseball and softball teams this morning at 9:45 a.m.. The parade will begin on Fifth St. at the entrance to Warren Area High School and proceed all the way down 5th. Fans are encouraged to bring signs to show their support, wear blue and white and make as much noise as possible to show support for both teams, who will each play for District 10 titles.
