Teachers, students, parents interacting as Phase 3 approaches

Teachers are reporting that Phase 2 of the Warren County School District’s Continuity of Education plan is coming along. They say there have been successful communications with both students who have suitable internet access and those who don’t. Forest County begins graded work in Phase III on Monday

Over the last several weeks, the Forest Area School District (FASD) has been working to prepare for distance learning. Teachers have been getting in touch with students to talk about packets of lessons that FASD will be providing both online and on paper — depending upon the needs of students. On Monday, April 20, Phase III of FASD’s Continuity of Education Plan begins. Meals being provided to adults in Forest County

As a part of COVID 19 relief efforts, meals will be available for any adult who lives in the Forest Area School District attendance area. Each box will include three meals. Any adult may pick up one or two boxes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of each week. Meals may be picked up beginning Monday, April 20, at East Forest School or in Tionesta at the Farm Fresh parking lot between 11:30 and 1 p.m. No paperwork or pre-qualification is required.
