Dragons’ JV rolls past Johnsonburg
JOHNSONBURG, Pa. – The Warren Dragons JV boys basketball team kept up its winning ways with a 68-46 victory over Johnsonburg in the first round of the Elk County Tournament on Wednesday.
The Dragons jumped out to a 21-7 lead after the first quarter and were never threatned the rest of the way, buidling a 40-19 halftime advantage.
Ryan Rafalski led a balanced attack for Warren with 16 points, while Payton Barnes added 13.
In addition, Rafalski had five assists, Barnes 5 rebounds and Ryan Arnold 5 steals.
The Dragons will play Elk County Catholic in the title game after the Crusaders beat St. Marys.
