Europe is now the fastest heating continent, and Paris is suffering greatly under 100-plus Fahrenheit temperatures. That has inspired some conservative Americans to politicize the French aversion to air conditioning. Gigliotti, Peterson win Freedom Run 5K

A pair of 17-year-old Warren residents claimed the Open Men’s and Open Women’s divisions at the Freedom Run 5K on Friday. Joseph Gigliotti toured the course in 17 minutes, 18 seconds to lead the men, while Emma Peterson set the pace for the women with a 22:06 clocking. A total of 120 runners competed.
