A Warren woman was killed in an early-morning crash Friday in Sugar Grove Borough.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, Donna M. Ekstrom, 58, of Warren, was a passenger in a car that crashed into a concrete wall at the intersection of Warren Road (Route 69) and Main Street at 5 a.m. Friday.

Police the driver, Geraldine F. Davis, 80, of Warren, was driving north on Warren Road and failed to stop at the stop sign on Main Street.

Police said the driver tried to avoid crashing, but was unsuccessful. Police said the car continued through the intersection and crashed into the concrete wall at the north side of the intersection.

Davis was transported by Emergycare for reported significant injuries to her arm and leg, police said.

Police were assisted at the scene by Sugar Grove and Busti volunteer fire departments.
