McDowell dominates Warren baseball on Monday

The McDowell Trojans were in town Monday for a matchup against the Warren Dragons. Coming in on a 6-game winning streak, including an extra-inning win over rival Cathedral Prep, the Trojans’ momentum was simply too much for the Dragons as they fell 19-1. McDowell got hot right off the bat, scoring eight runs in the first three innings, but the Dragons did cross the plate in the bottom of the 3rd to get on the board. The Warren track teams earned a sweep of the visiting Meadville Bulldogs on Tuesday afternoon as the girls won 79-71 and the boys prevailed 77-73. “We knew today would be a battle on both the girls and boys sides,” reported head coach Kevin Dustin. “Meadville has a very talented team and we brought our best today.
