Warren falls in softball debut 11-7

ERIE — The Warren girls softball team finally got its season underway as the Dragons were on the road Monday to take on the Erie High Royals. The Dragons played well for their first game but were defeated by a close 11-7 score. “As a whole we did some good things and bad things,” said head coach Samantha Mott. Warren had a solid day at the plate as they batted .305 as a team, led by juniors Sydney Barr and Payton Hagg, who both went 3 for 4.
