Basketball playoff sites, times and opponents have been confirmed

The remaining Warren County basketball teams recently learned their PIAA state tournament opponents, sites and times. The Warren Dragons (15-10) are on the road Friday as they travel to Obama Academy (16-9), located in the East Liberty area of Pittsburgh. Obama Academy is the recent winner of the District 8 and 9 subregional matchup where it defeated the Clearfield Bison. Warren recently lost to the Hickory Hornets to receive the District 10 No. 4 seed. Warren’s wrestling season comes to end

The Warren boys wrestling team ended its season Saturday at the Western AAA Regional at Canon-McMillan High School. “The kids wrestled hard,” reported head coach Koltyn Eason. “I look forward to what next year will bring. We’re not satisfied, and hope to continue to grow!” As coach Eason predicted last week, this regional may be the best in Pennsylvania, and that appeared to be true over the weekend.
