Eisenhower track & field teams shine at Lancer Relays last week

EDINBORO — In between the snow, the cold and the rain, the Eisenhower track & field team got off to a good start this spring as both the boys and the girls teams finished ninth at the prestigious Lancer relays at the Lancer Relays at General McLane High School last week. By virtue of their performances, five individuals and a relay qualified for the District 10 Championships. CORRY — Behind a seven-run second inning, Corry knocked off Eisenhower 14-6 in a non-region baseball game Monday. The Knights cut the deficit to 10-6 in the sixth inning, but the Beavers put it out of reach with four runs in the bottom half of the inning. Eisenhower was led by Wyatt Neal and Caleb Jakubczak with two hits apiece.
