– July 15, 6:00 a.m. – noon: MAPS Bird Banding, Audubon Community Nature Center, watch ornithologists capture, band and release birds, donations appreciated, weather permitting

– July 15, 8:30 a.m.: Clarion River Canoe and Kayak Program, Cook Forest State Park, experienced canoeists and kayakers only, cost $50 per boat payable at start, must pre-register at Park Office by phoning 814-744-8407

– July 15, 1:00 p.m.: Fire Tower Historical Tour, Cook Forest State Park, bring binoculars to Fire Tower #9

– July 20, 9:00 a.m.: Hellbender Hunt, Cook Forest State Park, look for hellbenders and mudpuppies, bring water walking stick and wading shoes, you will get wet, meet at Park Office to car pool
