Bad weather doesn’t stop Lady Dragons from soccer win Tuesday

The Warren High girls soccer team is off to a great start in 2026 as they defeated the Franklin Knights Tuesday evening by a 4-1 margin. The game was all Warren as the Lady Dragons controlled the pace from the beginning to the end. Warren's first goal was scored by Ellise Wilson who found the back of the net off a Lani Wenzel indirect kick. Eisenhower boys roll 7-1

HADLEY — The Eisenhower Knights played their third game in four days, but showed no signs of being tired as they defeated Commodore Perry 7-1 in a nonregion boys soccer game. Eisenhower’s Rever Caudill scored three goals in the game, the first coming less than four minutes in and the second coming just 18 seconds later to stake the Knights to an early 2-0 lead. Shippee ties for medalist honors

NORTH EAST — Warren senior Kate Shippee tied McDowell’s Bella Deaton with scores of 85 for medalist honors as the Dragons finished third in a Region 6 mega match held at the Green Meadows Golf Course. Warren’s combined three-of-five girls score of 319 narrowly finished one stroke behind Harbor Creek’s 318.
