TITUSVILLE -- The Eisenhower Knights cross country team ended its 2026 season Saturday at the District 10 Championships at the Ed Myer Complex.

The varsity boys had an impressive fourth-place team finish out of 15, with Mason Britt's time of 17:34 placing him 16th overall, just shy of qualifying as an individual for the PIAA Championships.

"Earning fourth place in District 10 Boys 1A Division is a proud accomplishment for the boys," said head coach Darlene Beach. "They have worked hard this season and have really come together as a team. Senior Mason Britt (16th), who has consistently improved the last three years, was just three spots back from qualifying for states."

Also running for the Knights were Parker McBride in 22nd, Alex Lund 27th, Cameron Lindell 41st, Joseph Fanelli 45th, Brice Ludwick 49th and Dylan Shaffer 87th.

Josie Elms was nearly a state qualifier in her freshman season as her 21:24 time earned her an 18th overall finish for the girls. Fellow teammate Izzy Grosch was just 23 seconds behind, Addy Britt came in 80th place and Haley Ferrie finished 84th.

"Josie Elms has had a great freshman season. She finished the race in the heartbreak spot (18th), just one place away from qualifying, and senior Izzy Grosch wasn’t far behind. She has been a strong presence on the team for six years," Beach said. "Sophomores Addy Britt and Haley Ferrie both had one of their best races of the year."
