RUSSELL -- Dragons get slain in fairytales, but that wasn't the case Friday night at the Pasture of Pain. In the first ever meeting in program history, the Warren Dragons downed the Eisenhower Knights 60-14 in the Fall Brawl of 2026.

Warren was able to utilize their offensive weapons and control the offensive line. From the start, it was clear the Dragons wanted to control the ball, and they did just that.

Warren caught the Knights off guard right from the start as they ran a successful 55-yard flea flicker as quarterback Parker Kiser found Grant May for the quick score. Up 7-0, the Dragons forced the Knights to punt and made the most of it. Driving down the field, Warren running back Aiden Eger would score his first touchdown of the evening from 12 yards out. Charlie Blum made the extra point, putting the visiting Dragons out to a quick 14-0 lead.

The Knights responded well on the following drive as Nolan Gesing punched in a 3-yard touchdown. Chase Card was successful on the extra point to put the game at 14-7, and the Knights within striking distance.

Warren retaliated on the next drive via Eger's second rushing touchdown, this one from 7 yards out.

An Eisenhower three-and-out enabled Eger to once again capitalize with a 44-yard run, then finished the job with a 2-yard score. Blum made the extra point to put the Dragons up 27-7. With 3:27 remaining in the half, Eger once again crossed the goal line from 7 yards out, putting Warren up 26 points.

The second half was essentially a repeat of the first as Warren scored 27 more points to the Knights 7.

"I said it started all up front for us," stated head Warren coach Jodi Baum. "We controlled the line like how I wanted to, and we did just that. We practiced that flea flicker about 10 times this week and we executed it well. I gotta give credit not to just my players but my coaches as well. They coached a heck of a game tonight."

Neither team had a turnover all game.

Stats for the game: Parker Kiser went 5 of 7 with 106 yards and a touchdown. Aiden Eger rushed 17 times for 133 yards and 4 touchdowns. Ayden Corbett ran 5 times for 63 yards and 2 touchdowns. Tucker Sanford had 3 carries for 26 yards and a touchdown, and Levi Potter rushed for 55 yards and a touchdown. Grant May led the Dragon receivers with 3 grabs for 71 yards and a touchdown.

For the Knights, Joe Gigliotti went 3 of 4 for 72 yards. Nolan Gesing rushed 20 times for 108 yards and 2 touchdowns. Gesing also had 46 receiving yards, and Ollie Boozer had one catch for 26 yards. Gesing also amassed 1000 rushing yards for the season.

Warren hosts Bradford at 7 p.m. next Friday, and the Knights host Saegertown next Friday at 7 p.m. for each team’s season finales.
