RUSSELL -- The Eisenhower Knights defeated the Kane Wolves in straight sets Monday night 26-24, 25-17 and 25-19 in nonregion volleyball.
Eisenhower battled back from a 23-18 deficit in the first set to earn a 26-24 win and took control of the remaining sets to earn the win on Senior Night.
Outstanding performances were turned in by Paisley Lawson, who had 11 kills, four aces, 11 digs and two serve receptions; Gabby Hodak with four kills, a dig and a serve reception; Alanna Byrd had four kills, four aces, nine digs and two serve receptions; Meredith Smyth had three kills and 14 serve receptions; and Navaeh Bimber and Ashley Zimmerman each had a kill.
Eisenhower is back in action Saturday when the Knights travel to Kane for an invitational.
