It was a good day for Eisenhower's girls soccer and volleyball team on Thursday as both teams were selected for the playoffs. The soccer team will face off against a familiar Region 3 opponent in Mercyhurst Prep. The Lakers defeated Eisenhower 3-1 and 3-0 this season. The match will be played at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Hagerty Family Events Center in Erie. The Lady Knights volleyball team will be the No. 6 seed and will face off against No. 3 Franklin. That game is scheduled for Wednesday at Oil City High School. Franklin defeated Eisenhower 3-2 earlier this season. In photos above, Eisenhower’s Paisley Lawson, right, delivers a spike in a volleyball match against Franklin, while Keira Cressley, left, boots the ball during a soccer game earlier this season.
