EDINBORO -- Warren High football had a tall order Thursday evening as it traveled to General McLane and fell 35-0 to the Lancers.
Constant defensive pressure on the line prohibited the Warren quarterback Parker Kiser from having time to develop a consistent offense. The Dragons did show signs of promise, despite being four scores down.
With the first half coming to a close, the Dragons drove deep into the McLane end where Kiser almost found Grant May for a touchdown, but could not convert before the half.
The Lancers were simply too much on the offensive end, amassing almost 300 total yards including 166 yards on the ground by Charlie Bennett.
With the loss, the Dragons fall to 1-2 on the season. They will look to bounce back next Friday as they host the Meadville Bulldogs at War Memorial Field at 7 p.m.
