CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS -- Eisenhower took to the road Friday night for a nonregion game and lost to Cambridge Springs 31-0.
The Blue Devils' Kaydin McFarren scored on a 5-yard run, the point-after kick failed and Cambridge Springs led with 4:16 left in the opening quarter.
After the Knights were forced to punt, the Blue Devils moved the ball down to the Eisenhower 10-yard line. Cambridge Springs Wyatt Keem scored the first of his three touchdowns in the game on a 10-yard run. The 2-point attempt was stopped by the Knights making the score 12-0 at the end of the first quarter.
The Eisenhower defense held the Cambridge Springs offense at bay until Keem scored on a 4-yard run with one minute remaining in the half. The point-after kick was good making the score 19-0 at the half.
The Knights moved the ball deep into Cambridge Springs territory only to be stopped on downs twice.
Cambridge used a 58-yard touchdown pass and a 57-yard Keem touchdown run to open up the game.
Nolan Gesing led the Knights with 68 yards rushing. Collin Havers added 31 yards on the ground to pace for Eisenhower.
The Knights fell to 0-5 on the season and will travel to North East next week.
