McDowell was too much for Warren in a girls soccer game on Thursday.
Leading 2-0 at halftime, the Dragons tacked on a goal after the break en route to the 3-0 win.
“The ladies played hard on defense tonight,” Warren head coach Teresa Abplanalp said. “We held them to just one goal in the second half, (but) we just couldn’t get through the tough Trojan defense.”
Senior goalkeeper Bella Campbell had an impressive outing as she recorded 20 saves in the loss.
“We played hard as a whole team,” Abplanalp said.
The Dragons look to regroup today as they head to Meadville to take on the Bulldogs at 4 p.m.
