CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS -- The Eisenhower girls soccer team continued its strong start to the season Tuesday by defeating Cambridge Springs 8-1 in nonregion action.
Leading the way for the Knights were Rosalie Rondeau and Kierra Cressley, who each tallied three goals. Josie Elms added two goals.
Rondeau added two assists while Grace Martin and Hannah Lund each had one.
Adding assists in the game were Rondeau with two, while Grace Martin and Hannah Lund each added one.
"Amelia Smyth had a strong defensive game," Eisenhower head coach Ashley Elms said. "Grace Martin and Josie Elms controlled the middle. It was good to put Sophie Scott into goal for the second half; she had a nice game. Overall a strong showing by our underclassmen today."
Eisenhower improved to 2-0-0 on the season.
