ERIE -- The Eisenhower Knights went on the road Tuesday to face Iroquois and beat the Braves 4-0 to improve to 8-3-0 overall and 2-3-0 in Region 3 girls soccer.

It was Keira Cressley who got the Knights off to a quick lead just 20 seconds into the game when she took a pass from Rosalie Rondeau and fired a shot into the back of the net for a 1-0 lead.

Cressley increased the Eisenhower lead just two minutes later on a pass from Hannah Lund and the Knights never looked back.

"The offense today strung together some really nice passes which opened up some great shots on goal," Eisenhower head coach Ashley Elms said.

The Knights did all their scoring in the first half. Getting into the scoring column next was Josie Elms, followed by Grace Martin at the 10-minute mark to close out the scoring.

"We got a strong effort today on defense," Coach Elms said. "Iroquois did not get one shot on goal the entire game; just a nice team win."

Eisenhower is back in action Thursday when it travels to Maplewood for a nonregion contest.
