HADLEY -- The Eisenhower Knights played their third game in four days, but showed no signs of being tired as they defeated Commodore Perry 7-1 in a nonregion boys soccer game.
Eisenhower's Rever Caudill scored three goals in the game, the first coming less than four minutes in and the second coming just 18 seconds later to stake the Knights to an early 2-0 lead.
Caudill would score his third-and-final goal just five minutes later to put the Knights up 3-0 and they never looked back.
Getting into the scoring column next for Eisenhower were Jayden Fry and Braden Frank to close out the first half as the teams headed into intermission with the visitors up 5-0.
Commodore Perry's Noah Williams would score 10 minutes into the second half to make the score 7-1. The Eisenhower defense was outstanding the rest of the way holding Commodore Perry to just one goal.
Closing out the scoring for Eisenhower was Frank, who added his second goal of the game, and Conner Briggs.
The Knights improved to 2-0-1 and are back in action Thursday when they travel to Sharpsville for a 5 p.m. game.
