WARREN -- The Warren boys soccer team picked up a win at their home opener Tuesday evening at War Memorial Field.
Facing Erie High, the Dragons well-handled the quickness of the Royals and played consistent soccer to win by a 4-2 margin.
Gabe Dougherty found the back of the net twice, and had two assists in the victory. Also scoring on the win were Adam Yeager and Eddie Abplanap, and Timmy Giger chipped in an assist.
The Dragons look to keep the momentum going as they host the General McLane Lancers Thursday at 6 p.m. at War Memorial Field.
