Golf
WARREN -- Marlene Sandberg shot a 43 and hit the fewest putts with 12 to lead the A Flight during the Ladies League at Jackson Valley Golf Course last week.
Jen Madril made the longest putt at No. 11 while Tracey Rickard made a birdie at No. 18 and led the net scores with a 34 in the A Flight.
In the B Flight, Melissa Johnson's 55 led the gross scores and Marianne Yaegle's 38 led the net scores. Rita Cecco and Cindy Munksgard each hit 15 putts while April Tharp made the longest putt at No. 11.
Desiree Dininniy's 57 led the gross scores in the C Flight. Kelli Ford shot a net 37 and Chris Schuyler hit the fewest putts with 16.
In the D Flight, Donna McDonald's 61 led the gross scores and Sherry Johnson's 34 led the net scores. McDonald also hit the fewest putts with 13, Taffy Honhart made the longest putt at No. 11 and Kelley Kibbey birdied No. 12.
