Eisenhower begins preparing for season

The Eisenhower football team began heat acclimatization week Monday in Russell. Thirty players showed up for the first practice. Head coach Jim Penley is excited for his 23rd season at the helm. "We are getting great effort from the guys and are really creating good team chemistry." The Knights are coming off a 6-5 2025 season that included a seventh consecutive trip to the playoffs, eventually falling to Farrell. Above left, Penley works with the punt team.
