12 Powerhouse gymnasts compete at nationals

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Twelve gymnasts from the Warren YMCA Powerhouse Gymnastics Team attended the 2026 YMCA National Gymnastics Championship Invitational in June. Approximately 1,500 gymnasts from all over the country were in attendance.

In the Level 3 Child B Division, Ryan Betts finished fifth on the floor exercise and seventh on the balance beam while Hallie Miller took sixth on the balance beam.

In the Level 6 Junior Division, Madelyn Smart was sixth on vault.

In the Level 7 Child Division, Ruth Sienkiewicz was fourth in all-around after taking second on balance beam, third on vault and third on floor exercise.

In the Level 8 Junior Division, Meredith Smyth was in the top 25 in all-around, which advanced her to the championship round where she finished 20th.

In the Xcel Silver Child B Division, Grace Robinson was eighth on the floor exercise.

In the Xcel Silver Junior Division, Raelynn Perina was 10th on the floor exercise while Kenna Nobles was eighth on the balance beam and 11th on the uneven bars.
