Golf leagues
WARREN — Mark Silvis and Jeff McClement teamed up with Denny Beedle and Scott Dexter to lead the Monday Night League at Jackson Valley Golf Course with a 30 on June 15.
Jasyn Consiglio and Ryan Deppas teamed up with Adam Miller and Coleman Miller to shoot a 30 while Mark Sweet and Steve Parinella teamed up with Fred Backhus and Dan Hartzfeld for a 31.
Chet Loomis and Joe Yaegle shot the low Flight A scratch with a 32.
Beedle and Dexter shot the low Flight B scratch with a 33.

RUSSELL — Mike’s Townline leads the Eastern Division with 141 points while Townline Auto leads the Western Division with 134 points after Week 8 of the Senior Men’s League at Cable Hollow Golf Course.
Warren Tire has 126.5 points, followed by Maple Place Farms (123), Huber Paving (121.5), Litehouse Auto (120.5), Olde Duffers (118) and Cable Hollow (114) in the Eastern Division.
Lion’s Gate Wealth has 131 points, followed by Cable Hollow 2.0 (129.5), Chili’s Dippers (108.5), Falconer/Frewsburg (104), NAPA Auto Parts (96.5) and Agricultural Logistics (82) in the Western Division.
Arthur Stewart shot the low gross this week with a 34 while Wayne Nasman had the low net with a 25, including a hole-in-one at No. 5. Wayne Matve accumulated the most points this week with 9 while Bob Orbanic leads the season with 42 points. Stewart made four birdies while Leighton Swanson, Lou Swanson, Al Ludwick and Art Ward each made two.
Hole-in-one
RUSSELL — Wayne Nasman made a hole-in-one at the 110-yard fifth hole with his 8-iron during the Senior Men’s League at Cable Hollow Golf Course on Friday. The shot was witnessed by Billy Gross, Paul Edson and Rod Whited.
Youth baseball
Diamond Dawgs Travel Baseball is currently looking for players and head coach for an 8U team for the 2027 season.
Diamond Dawgs is a local travel ball organization that is completely tuition-free and fundraiser-based and focuses on player development at all ages.
