Warren falls 12-2 to McDowell

ERIE — Warren suffered a 12-2 loss to McDowell in Region 6 baseball Saturday.

The Trojans took the early lead in the first inning by scoring three, but the Dragons retaliated nicely by scoring two of their own via RBIs from Zane Carlson and Tage Wyman.

McDowell found itself up 6-3 heading into the bottom of the fourth, and managed to double its score and end the game after five innings.

McDowell’s Andrew Samluk earned the win with the Dragons’ Zane Carlson getting the loss on the outing. Broc Bryan had two hits for the Dragons while David Manning, Duncan McGarry and Zane Carlson each had one.

Warren looks to bounce back today as it hosts Cathedral Prep at 4 p.m. at Legion Field.
