The Warren County Sports Hall of Fame has announced the eight living nominees who were the top eight vote getters from the recent voting membership election.

The following living candidates will be inducted into the WCSHOF later this year: Pete Molinaro (coaching); Richard “Fuzzy” Merenick (coaching/golf); Lou Vizza (PIAA official); Kristy (Zavinski) Hanks (softball/golf); Liz Dunn (wheelchair rugby); Tim Juliano (broadcasting); Jeff Berdine (coaching); and Allison (Atwood) Madigan (softball/tennis).

The following deceased candidates will also be inducted: Lyman and Gerald Archibald (basketball/coaching); Lisa (Huey) Hochberg (diving); Tom Scarcalla (coaching/promoter); and Tom Santo (PIAA official). The Warren County PA USBC Bowling Association is the organization that will be inducted.

“We, the board of directors, are extremely excited to announce the full list of inductees for this cycle,” WCSHOF director Nate Sandberg said. “Congratulations to the top eight, and the other 17 who did not make it this go-round. Just because they did not get in this time, it does not mean they never will get in. We understand there will be a mixed bag of emotions on who is inducted, but that is why we vote. I also want to thank all of the voting members. Without you, we would not be able to do what we do.”

Starting at $3.50/week.
