Huskies rally past Warren on Wednesday
HARBORCREEK — The Warren High baseball team suffered a loss Wednesday versus the Harbor Creek Huskies.
The game was tied 5-5, and the Dragons broke through in the top of the 6th to take the 6-4 lead. However, the Huskies were able to rally and notch six runs off Duncan McGarry to take the 10-6 lead heading into the 7th inning. Warren was able to muster one more run, but could not mount the comeback.
Harbor Creek’s Michael Cieslak earned the win and McGarry took the loss.
The Dragons had 11 hits in the outing including home runs from David Manning and Tage Wyman. McGarry went 3-4 at the plate, and Eli Snyder went 2-4 with two doubles. Manning and Zane Carlson added two hits each, and Tage Tyman and Broc Bryan also had one hit.
The Dragons head to Union City today to take on the Bears at 4 p.m.
