There were five classes: AA, A, B, C and D, with approximately 25 players in each class. With close to 120 shooters present, representatives from all of the region teams (Warren, Corry, Tidioute and Sheffield) competed.

Senior Jacob Retterer saved his best round of the year to shoot a perfect 25 for a three-way tie in the AA Class (the highest class) and landed a second-place finish in the shoot-off. Ryan Sveda also had his best round of the year shooting a 22, also landing himself in a three-way shoot-off in C class and also managed a second-place finish. Gabe Hecei rounded out Warren’s place winners, shooting a 20, earning him a third-place trophy.

Warren recognized the letter winners and awards during the banquet on Sunday. The High Gun award for the boys was senior Kolten Sumrow, with Taige Davis the runnerup. The High Gun for the ladies was senior Faith Sherwood.

“We are very happy with the great participation from all of the students and are thankful for all of the help from the volunteer coaches, scorekeepers, kitchen staff, and our very generous donors and we are looking forward to another great year next year,” said volunteer coach Scott Pearson.
