It was a stampede of Bison on Saturday as Fort LeBoeuf needed just five innings to defeat the Warren 17-5 in a baseball game at Old Legion Field.

The visitors were able to cross the plate 14 times before the Dragons retaliated with three of their own in the bottom of the fourth inning. Warren would put up two more runs in the fifth, but this was not enough to mount the comeback.

Broc Bryan, David Manning, Gabe Thibodeaux and Tage Wyman (double) each recorded a hit for the Dragons. Manning, the losing pitcher, struck out two in three innings.

Fort LeBoeuf’s Jackson Lewis earned the win, pitching four innings, allowing three hits and striking out four.

The Dragons look to regroup today as they host the Erie High at 4 p.m. at Old Legion Field.

Starting at $3.50/week.
