Corry tops Eisenhower baseball 14-6
CORRY — Behind a seven-run second inning, Corry knocked off Eisenhower 14-6 in a non-region baseball game Monday.
The Knights cut the deficit to 10-6 in the sixth inning, but the Beavers put it out of reach with four runs in the bottom half of the inning.
Eisenhower was led by Wyatt Neal and Caleb Jakubczak with two hits apiece. Neal scored three runs, Jakubczak drove in three runs, Wesley Wilcox added two RBIs, and Carson Ferman added a run-scoring double.
In the junior varsity game, the Knights won 4-3.
Aaden Patch collected a pair of singles, Neal and Wilcox drove in a run apiece and Ramsey Williams tossed two innings to secure the victory.
Weather permitting, the Knights are back in action today when they entertain Southwestern. First pitch is set for 4 p.m.
