Carlson’s 25 leads Warren over Tidioute

Warren’s Zane Carlson shot Warren’s first perfect score of the season Tuesday as he hit all 25 clay targets in the Dragons’ 162-145 win over Tidioute.

The score of 162 is currently the Dragons’ high team total on the season. Twenty-one out of 39 shooters broke at least 20 targets.

The junior varsity squad was also victorious by a score of 144-75.

Halfway through the season has Warren varsity sitting with a 2-1 overall record and Warren JV 3-0.

Warren varsity was led by Carlson’s 25, followed by 24s from Hayden Lilly and Taige Davis. Parker Lauffenberger was next with a 23, and Kolton Sumrow, KC Johnson and Jacob Retterer each hit 22 targets. The High Lady for Warren was Alainah Ginkel’s 21.

In junior varsity action, Colton Clever led the way with 22, followed by Ginkel, Eddie Abplanap and Sebastian Oyola at 21. Also contributing were Carter McKee and Drake Harness at 20, and Baylee Mead at 19.

Tidioute varsity was led by Wyatt Greeley at 23, and 22s from Ethan Patterson and Carter Anderson. Ethan Manning nailed 21 targets, Aiden Foster 20, Spencer Lauger 19 and Tanner Warham 18. Tidioute’s High Lady was Shelby Hrach with a 15.

The Bulldogs junior varsity squad was led by Trent Drunkenbroad’s 17, then Thomas Sabella at 16, Hrach’s 15, Mia Buccardo 14, Jessa Joseph 11 and Mataya Ongley at 2.

Warren’s next match is at Sheffield and Tidioute’s is at Corry.
