Basketball playoff sites, times and opponents have been confirmed
The remaining Warren County basketball teams recently learned their PIAA state tournament opponents, sites and times.
The Warren Dragons (15-10) are on the road Friday as they travel to Obama Academy (16-9), located in the East Liberty area of Pittsburgh. Obama Academy is the recent winner of the District 8 and 9 subregional matchup where it defeated the Clearfield Bison. Warren recently lost to the Hickory Hornets to receive the District 10 No. 4 seed. The Dragons tip off at 7p.m.
The Eisenhower Knights (21-3) will host their first-round matchup when they take on Seton LaSalle (19-7) at Warren Area High School. This game will tip off at 1 p.m. Saturday.
To qualify for the PIAA tournament, the Knights recently defeated the Cranberry Berries in the District 9 and 10 subregional, hosted at PennWest Clarion. Seton LaSalle is the No. 6 seed out of the District 7Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League. The much-anticipated game has high potential for a sellout crowd.
