The Warren Youth Climbing League is in full swing.
The past two Mondays saw four more meets at The Goat Fort — two elementary and two middle school.
Last Monday, Jan. 26, featured the Stonehill Chocolates Cocoa Bombs vs. the Kinzua Vet Clinic Bulls and the Valley Tool & Die Bears vs. the Whirley Tornadoes.
Feb. 2 featured the Allegheny Aggregate Wolves vs. the Stonehill Chocolates Cocoa Bombs and the Cable Excavating Bulldogs vs the Valley Tool & Die Bears.
In elementary action Jan. 26, the Stonehill Chocolates Cocoa Bombs topped the Kinzua Vet Clinic Bulls 397-362. The Cocoa Bombs were led by Connor Spear and Jaxon Moore with a 28.7 and 27.2 3-Boulder Average, respectively. The Bulls were led by Logan Woldt (27.5 3BA) and Elle Keddie (25.2 3BA).

In middle school action that evening, led by Riley Littlefield (36.3 3BA) and Grace Peterson (24.7 3BA), the Valley Tool & Die Bears amassed 375 points, but were bested by the Whirley Tornadoes who posted an impressive 382 points — led by Avery Woldtz’s 28.5 3BA, Owen Heath’s 27.2 3BA and Silas Hecei’s 25.8 3BA.
In elementary action Feb. 2, led by first-year climbers Gabriel Curtis (17.7 3BA), Colt Benedict (14.2 3BA) and Benjamin Curtis (14.2 3BA), the Allegheny Aggregate Wolves earned 240 points. However, they faced the more experienced Stonehill Chocolates Cocoa Bombs who posted an impressive 322 points. The Cocoa Bombs were led by Jaxon Moore and Ruth Sienkiewicz both with a 21.5 3BA and Connor Spear with a 21 3BA.
Middle school action saw Valley Tool & Die Bears outscoring the Cable Excavating Bulldogs. Led by Olivia Bailey (24.7 3BA) and Sebastian Cable (23 3BA), the Bulldogs posted 305 points. However, Riley Littlefield (33.2 3BA) and Grayson Woods (22.8 3BA) led the Bears, who amassed 334 points to overtake the Bulldogs.
