The Elementary Division featured the undefeated Stonehill Chocolates Cocoa Bombs vs. the Sunrise Collaborative Eagles. For the middle school, the Valley Tool & Die Bears took on the undefeated Train Station Outlaws.

For the elementary contest, the Stonehill Chocolates team came out swinging. Team leaders Jaxon Moore (34.5 3-Boulder Average), Ruth Sienkiewicz (33 3BA) and Connor Spear (31.8) put up big scores early. Sunrise Collaborative’s Isaac Myler had a 33-point 3-Boulder Average), and teammates Caleb Hellman (24.7 3BA) and Eliza Hellman (21.2 3BA) climbed well, but the Eagles could not overcome the exceptional performance by the Cocoa Bombs.

The final score was the still-undefeated Stonehill Chocolates Cocoa Bombs 460-387 over the Sunrise Collaborative Eagles.

The middle school meet was exciting. Led by Razzlin Pratz (39.5 3BA), Finley LaVigne (33.3 3BA) and Harrison Cathcart (31.7 3BA), the Train Station Outlaws climbed well during the first period. However, the second period saw the Valley Tool & Die Bears surge ahead — led by Riley Littlefield (38 3BA), Grayson Woods (30.7 3BA) and Grace Peterson (28 3BA).

The contest was not decided until the final period, and it was the Outlaws’ Lottie Curtis and Emery Heacox scoring late in the match that was the difference. The final score was the still-undefeated Train Station Outlaws 477-432 over the Valley Tool & Die Bears.

Climbers are back in action Monday, Feb. 23, with the Allegheny Aggregate Wolves facing the Kinzua Vet Clinic Bulls, and the Whirley Tornadoes vs. the Cable Excavating Bulldogs.
