Dragons’ Holden notches 100th career win in loss
SHARON — The Warren boys wrestling team competed in the District 9/10 team championships Saturday at Sharon High School.
The Dragons fought hard but were defeated in the first-round semifinal matchup against a very tough DuBois Area High School team.
Despite the loss, there was much to celebrate for Warren senior Hayden Holden, as he notched his 100th career win in his very successful career. Holden held tough during his match and was able to get the pinfall 1:08 into the second period.
The Beavers won the District 9/10 team title after defeating Harbor Creek in the finals by a narrow score of 33-28.
The Dragons are back to the practice mat as they have no matches until they compete in the individual district competition later in February.
