Youth wrestling

CORRY — Eisenhower and Youngsville’s youth wrestlers made a short trip over to Corry for the annual Tim Edwards Memorial Tournament over the weekend.

A long-standing tournament known for attracting talent from the local area and surrounding states, it is named after former Youngsville High School wrestler and longtime Corry youth wrestling coach Tim Edwards.

This year’s version featured a bevy of talented wrestlers competing to claim first place.

With the concentration of talent came a number of close matches that pitted decorated wrestlers against one another.
