Eisenhower’s Havers 2nd at Morales Memorial Tourney

FALCONER, N.Y. — Nine individual champions led St. Francis (N.Y.) to the Patrick J. Morales Memorial Tournament title this weekend with 373.5 points.

Corry was second with 250 points followed by Chautauqua Lake/Panama/Clymer/Westfield (N.Y.) (221.5).

Patrick Winseman (103 pounds), Jon Winseman (110 pounds), Tanner Catrabone (118 pounds), Brayden Kellison-Neglia (126 pounds), Cullen Edwards (132 pounds), Kole Haseley (138 pounds), Griffin LaPlante (157 pounds), Rory White (165 pounds) and Zach Caldwell (215 pounds) won their weight classes for the Red Raiders.

Corry was paced by Lamech Alberts, who won the 175-pound title and Carson Braswell, who won at 150 pounds.

Chase Shirley (110 pounds) and Alex Bourgeois (144 pounds) were second-place finishers for Chautauqua Lake/Panama/Clymer/Westfield.

Gowanda/Pine Valley’s Nathan Warrior won the 144-pound title with a 13-2 major decision over Bourgeois.

Central Clarion’s Jake Henry won the 190-pound title and Spencerport’s Jeremiah Morgan was the champion at 285 pounds.

Other second-place finishers included: Randolph’s Kamren Anderson (103 pounds), Ali Hamideh (118 pounds) of St. Francis, Falconer/Cassadaga Valley’s Dylan Newman (126 pounds), Corry’s Steven Willis (132 pounds), Zak Massaro (138 pounds) of St. Francis, Max McCarthy (150 pounds) of St. Francis, Corry’s Cooper Hodak (157 pounds), Eisenhower’s Collin Havers (165 pounds), Spencerport’s Porter Vega (175 pounds), Falconer/Cassadaga Valley’s Patrick Braley (190 pounds), Dom Darch (215 pounds) of St. Francis and Corry’s Owen Nickerson (285 pounds).

Third-place winners were: Jaxson Tocco (103 pounds) of St. Francis, Jamestown’s Zach Little (110 pounds), Chautauqua Lake/Panama/Clymer/Westfield’s Zander Lombardo (118 pounds), Central Clarion’s Wyatt Aaron (126 pounds), Chautauqua Lake/Panama/Clymer/Westfield’s Thandon Bensink (132 pounds) and Gavin Burchanowski (138 pounds), Stephano Passucci (144 pounds) and Alex Schiffhauer (150 pounds) of Iroquois, Corry’s Devin Merski (157 pounds), Chautauqua Lake/Panama/Clymer/Westfield’s Toby Watson (165 pounds), Falconer/Cassadaga Valley’s Riley Best (175 pounds), Corry’s Landon Nickerson (190 pounds), Southwestern’s Brayden Potter (215 pounds) and Chautauqua Lake/Panama/Clymer/Westfield’s Walter Lukasiak (285 pounds).
