Warren boys improve to 9-4 after 12-0 win over Oil City

The Warren boys soccer team hosted Oil City on Thursday and shut out the Oilers 12-0.
Trey Carrington and Gabe Dougherty led the Dragon scoring with three goals apiece. Jack Chapman found the net twice, with Quinn Norris, Luc Wilkins, Josh Westover and Adon Maier finding the net one time apiece.
Norris and Doughtery collected three assists apiece, Jack Chapman added two, and Trey Carrington, Grant Newton, Bryce Grolemund and Isaac Hammerbeck had one each.
Steals leaders were Carrington and Norris with 15 apiece, and Logan Kittell with nine.
“We’re fortunate to have a really deep group, and you can see that in how many guys off the bench step in and make an impact,” Dragons head coach Steffen Blair said. “That depth speaks to the talent we have across the board and how everyone pushes each other to improve.”
With the victory, Warren improves to 9-4 overall on the season.
The Dragons are back in action Monday when they travel to Erie High to take on the Royals.
