The Warren boys soccer team hosted its second game in a row at War Memorial Field on Wednesday as it faced Dubois, the 12th-ranked AAA team in the state.
The game was tied 1-1 at the half — Warren’s senior captain Quinn Norris found the back of the net on a penalty kick — but it was all Dubois in the second half en route to a 4-1 victory.
This was the Dragons’ final regular season game as they will prepare for the PIAA District 10 playoffs starting next week.
Steals leaders for Warren were Quinn Norris with 28, Trey Carrington with 22 and Bryce Grolemund with 19. Warren’s goalkeepers Aidan Sweet and Eddie Abplanalp combined for five saves.
In junior varsity action, the Dragons were edged by the Beavers 2-1. Warren’s goal came from senior Josh Westover.
